Soler, Alcantara On All-Star Futures Game Roster

Two Cubs prospects have made the Futures Game -- and you can vote for another one. Details below.

USA TODAY Sports

Two Cubs prospects will be members of the "World" team for the 2013 All-Star Futures Game, which will take place at Citi Field in New York Sunday, July 14.

Jorge Soler, currently playing at High-A Daytona, and Arismendy Alcantara, an infielder at Double-A Tennessee, will be members of the team facing the "USA" team that evening. Last year, current Double-A outfielder Jae-Hoon Ha played in the game, and homered off Pirates prospect (and now Pirates starter) Gerrit Cole.

You can help get another Cubs prospect onto the World team. Javier Baez is among five players on the ballot for an additional World team player; you can vote for him at this link.

Here are the complete rosters for the Futures Game; many players who play in this game make the major leagues very soon after playing there. In addition to Cole, players from last year's Futures Game who have already played in the major leagues include Trevor Bauer, Dylan Bundy, Jake Odorizzi, Zack Wheeler, Nolan Arenado, Scooter Gennett, Manny Machado, Wil Myers, Rob Brantly, Anthony Gose, Yasmani Grandal, Jurickson Profar and Tyler Skaggs.

Congratulations to Soler and Alcantara -- and go vote for Baez!
