Want To Buy Theo Epstein's House?

The Cubs president of baseball operations has a real estate deal for you.

David Banks

Gotcha.

No, Theo's not leaving the Cubs. Theo is, however, apparently leaving Boston behind for good, as his Boston-area house is now on the market.

You can see photos of the house at that link, and here's a description:

Located on just over a quarter of an acre, the six-bedroom Colonial at 15 Circuit Road features five full baths, five fireplaces, a chef’s kitchen with gas cooking and "elite appliances, " and central air.

The 4,906-square-foot home has a master suite has a fireplace, walk-in closet and spa bath. There’s a spacious third floor with a guest suite, full bath and tons of windows and a skylight. The house has hardwood floors throughout and a two-car garage. In addition, the house has a private yard, a bluestone patio and three mahogany decks. Epstein bought the home in 2007 for $2.35 million. It is assessed at $2.8 million.

The listing price is $3.65 million, so start saving your pennies. No garages or other portions of the deal are to be named later. Looks like Theo's committed to the Cubs and Chicago for the long haul. (And he now owns a home within walking distance of Wrigley Field.)
