Wrigley Field Construction Update: November 7

New, comments

This post will show you the general work being done around Wrigley Field on Friday.

This is the second of three Saturday articles about the Wrigley Field work that happened on Friday morning and afternoon. BCB's David Sameshima has details:

Brandenburg, the demolition company, was removing the last of their equipment Friday. With nothing to block the view of Gate Q, I was able to take some photos of the inside left-field bleacher wall. I also saw some workers appear to be inspecting right field. Utility work continued on Addison Street, with crews working in the middle of the Addison/Sheffield intersection. Work in front of the Dunkin' Donuts and Subway shops, east of Sheffield, reduced Addison to only one lane of traffic shared by both eastbound and westbound traffic. This is also the location of the CTA Addison bus stop, which did not help the flow of traffic. I also saw a contractor's marking on a street light pole on Clark Street outside the Red Lot (photo 13).

One more photo gallery is coming later today, with a unique view into Wrigley Field.
