BCB's David Sameshima returned to Wrigley Field after a Christmas Day break to find sunshine -- one of the few sunny days so far in December in Chicago -- and some work being done, but not much more than Wednesday's work:
The vibe on Friday was very similar to the atmosphere on Wednesday: Just small pockets of activity in a few areas of the work site.
In addition to the removal of part of the right-field inner wall, which you can see in great detail in photos 14-19, another thing I find interesting in the most recent photo sets is a "notch" that appears to have been taken out of the top of the left-field wall (photos 25-27), possibly for the placement of the LED board that's shown there in some of the renderings.
There's been much speculation on whether the Cubs will have the Wrigley Field bleachers ready to go on Opening Night, April 5, which now is just 97 days away. These types of posts don't allow polls to be attached, but I'd like you to leave your thoughts in the comments.
