Cubs Spring-Training Complex Aerial Views

Courtesy of a company that did some of the construction for the complex, I've got some photos to share with you.

I recently heard from Casey Chlebek, who works for Image Building Systems in Scottsdale, Arizona. This company helped build some of the structures at the Cubs' new spring-training complex; Casey sent me some aerial photographs which you see above, showing the practice fields and the batting-cage building in a way you likely haven't seen before, as well as some interior shots of the batting cages.

I'd also like to point you toward Image Building Systems' Facebook page. Why is this? Because they are having a giveaway; once their page gets to 2,000 likes they'll be giving away an autographed Ryne Sandberg jersey. (Note: this giveaway is not sponsored by BCB, SB Nation or Vox Media; I'm just passing this info along.)

Enjoy the photos; it's just three more days until Opening Day at Cubs Park in Mesa. The weather for Thursday looks spectacular:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.

Baseball! Almost here!
