SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- MLB Network Wednesday announced their April coverage schedule, which includes games on every day of the month.
Two of those games will be Cubs games: Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. CT against the Yankees in New York, and Friday, April 18 at 1:20 p.m. CT against the Reds in Wrigley Field. Both of those games are currently scheduled to be WGN games, so if you don't have WGN on your cable system outside of Chicago, but do have MLB Network, you'll now be able to watch those two.
Three other Cubs games are slated as MLB Network's alternate game, so you will be able to watch them if you live in the main game's markets or if the main game is rained out:
April 3, 11:30 a.m. CT, Cubs at Pirates (main game: Cardinals at Reds) April 4, 1 p.m. CT: Phillies at Cubs (main game: Brewers at Red Sox) April 10, 1 p.m. CT: Pirates at Cubs (main game: Athletics at Twins, noon CT)
Of course, it remains to be seen whether this year's Cubs team is actually worth watching.
