Hopefully, this injury to Javier Baez is not serious:

Iowa Cubs say that Baez suffered the injury while taking grounders during batting practice before Friday's game at Memphis. #Cub. #MiLB #PCL

Totally random, of course; an injury suffered not during a game, but during routine infield practice before the game. This iowacubs.com article gives a bit more detail, but doesn't indicate how long Baez will be out.
We can only hope this is just a minor blip in Baez's trajectory toward the major leagues. If you keep track of Iowa roster moves, the article indicates that Edgar Gonzalez has been activated to replace Baez on the Iowa active roster.
Baez was off to a slow start this year, hitting .154/.214/.423 (4-for-26) with a double, two home runs, two walks and 10 strikeouts in eight games.
