Cubs 2015 Schedule With Game Times

New, 70 comments

The Cubs will be playing the American League Central in interleague play in 2015, including their first trip to Cleveland in nine years.

Jeffrey Phelps

The Cubs will open the 2015 season at Wrigley Field against the Cardinals Monday, April 6 and have their road opener days later, Friday, April 10 against the Rockies. Oddly, after that three-game set against Colorado, they'll head back home to host the Reds.

And, for the first time, the Cubs and White Sox will play later in the season than usual; they'll have a three-game series July 10-12 at Wrigley Field and another one August 14-16 at the Cell. Both White Sox series are on weekends.

They'll also play the rest of the A.L. Central teams, as follows: a pair of two-game sets against the Tigers, one in June in Detroit, the other in August at Wrigley; a pair of back-to-back two-game series with the Indians on four weekdays in June; a three-game set at Target Field against the Twins, and another three-game series against the Royals at Wrigley Field. It will be the Cubs' first visit to Detroit since 2009 and their first trip to Cleveland since 2006.

They'll wrap the home season September 27 against the Pirates, and then play a week's worth of games on the road against the Reds and Brewers, finishing the 2015 season the same place they'll finish 2014.

You'll note that the season begins a week later this year than last, and so the regular season stretches into October.
