The Cubs' NLDS Series Win Over The Cardinals In Photos

New, comments

Tuesday was one of the most memorable days in the history of the Cubs franchise. Here's a gallery of photos from around the ballpark.

Wherever you were Tuesday evening, you have your own happy memories of the Cubs' 6-4 win over the Cardinals that won the division series over our biggest rivals.

BCB's David Sameshima was in the area around Wrigley Field before, during and after the game and captured photos of some of the activities around the park, that you likely didn't see if you were in the ballpark or watching on TV.

It's three days later and as we await the beginning of the National League Championship series against the Mets, many of us are still basking in the afterglow of the win over the Cardinals.

With that, I present to you David's photos from Tuesday evening, capturing a so-far unique moment in Cubs history: the first-ever postseason series win at home. It's certainly worth re-living.

Let's hope that in a week or so, I have another set of similar photos taken by David outside Wrigley to share with you.
