Kris Bryant's Jersey Is MLB's Best Seller In 2015

You probably have seen a lot of people wearing Kris Bryant jerseys this year. It's a lot more people than you even imagined.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Major League Baseball Monday released its annual list of top-selling jerseys for 2015 and Cubs rookie Kris Bryant's replica jersey leads the pack. MLB says, via press release:

The 23-year-old Bryant, who made his Major League debut on April 17, becomes the first rookie and youngest player ever to lead this list since MLB and the MLBPA began releasing jerseys sales rankings in 2010. The Cubs, who begin Postseason play Wednesday night against the Pirates in the National League Wild Card Game, are also represented on the list by All-Star first baseman Anthony Rizzo (#8). The list is based on sales of Majestic jerseys from MLB.com/shop, the official online shop of Major League Baseball, since Opening Day 2015.

Here's the top 20 in jersey sales this year via MLB.com:

 1. Kris Bryant, Chicago Cubs
 2. Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants
 3. Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants
 4. Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles Dodgers
 5. Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels
 6. Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals
 7. Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants
 8. Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs
 9. Matt Harvey, New York Mets
10. Andrew McCutchen, Pittsburgh Pirates
11. David Wright, New York Mets
12. Josh Donaldson, Toronto Blue Jays
13. Todd Frazier, Cincinnati Reds
14. David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox
15. Yadier Molina, St. Louis Cardinals
16. Carlos Correa, Houston Astros
17. Jacob deGrom, New York Mets
18. Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox
19. Felix Hernandez, Seattle Mariners
20. Albert Pujols, Los Angeles Angels

I'll expect to see quite a few Bryant (and Rizzo) jerseys in Pittsburgh for the wild-card game, and in other cities as the Cubs hopefully have a long playoff run this October.
