BCB's David Sameshima stopped by Wrigley Field Tuesday, and has this report.

I met a friend outside of Wrigley Field. He was planning on going to the Field Museum, to photograph the Cubs jersey on display outside. He invited me to tag along, and I accepted his offer. Thanks to my friend George for the ride to the Field Museum. This is why you see some Wrigley Field photos time stamped around 2:00 p.m., and then more Wrigley Field photos time stamped after 3:45 p.m. In between, there are photos (numbers 4-8) of the display currently outside of the Field Museum.There were no significant changes around the ballpark and it was pretty quiet around the neighborhood Tuesday. Either all the businesses are already stocked up with supplies, or it will be busy Wednesday with trucks making last-minute deliveries.

David says he might be able to stop by sometime during the day Wednesday, and also possibly after the game, for more photos, hopefully of a celebration!
