For the latest in our Wrigley construction series, here's another report from BCB's David Sameshima on nighttime activity around the ballpark:
I did pass the ballpark on my way home Friday night. Again, I only had my pocket camera with me, so the image quality is not what I normally post here. They were still working at the southeast corner of the ballpark, with a forklift operator still moving supplies. There was not work taking place in front of the ballpark. I was not able to walk around the ballpark, so I don't know if there was any work taking place elsewhere.
You can see more exposed brick in the front of the ballpark, particularly in photos 8, 9 and 13. I'm not sure whether this brick will be in the final restored look, or whether it will eventually be replaced by new brick (I'd lean toward the latter).
We'll have more photos here tomorrow.
