So now, after all, I get to make some "Edward James Olmos" jokes, since I missed them the first time Edgar Olmos was claimed by the Cubs.
Olmos was claimed by the Cubs December 4 from the Mariners, then claimed by the Orioles on waivers December 10. Thirteen days later, he stands delivered again to the Cubs on waivers:
Correction: #cubs claimed LHP Edgar Olmos from #orioles

#orioles had claimed Olmos from #cubs on Dec. 10. So it's baseball's circle of life

I don't want to gossip too much in the book of life, but I wonder whether Olmos will make a dead man's walk off the Cubs' 40-man roster again before saving grace, or games, for the North Siders. It's a case where he can say, "I'm still here."
Had enough yet? Wait, I'm Olmos done. I certainly wouldn't want to get caught making any more puns on the titles of the movies he's been in.
UPDATE: Here's the roster move to make room for Olmos, via press release from the Cubs:
The Chicago Cubs today claimed left-handed pitcher Edgar Olmos off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles while infielder Brendan Ryan has been released from the roster. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Yoervis Medina has been claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates. The club’s 40-man roster remains at 40 players.
