The Cubs announced very early Wednesday morning the third performer who will play a concert at Wrigley Field this year, via email:
Fresh off their GRAMMY® performance, AC/DC announced the band’s upcoming "Rock or Bust" World Tour will include a performance at Wrigley Field. AC/DC's Wrigley Field debut Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. CDT, will feature classic hits from the GRAMMY-winning band as well as songs from their recently released "Rock or Bust" album. Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. CST. No pre-sales will be offered for the "Rock or Bust" World Tour. Today's North American tour date announcement comes just days after AC/DC delivered an explosive performance of their current single "Rock or Bust" and their classic "Highway to Hell" to kick off the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards. AC/DC's latest album "Rock or Bust" was released on Dec. 2, 2014, and immediately topped sales charts around the globe.
Interesting that there won't be any presales. The Cubs will play a home game just three days after this concert, Friday, Sept. 18 at 1:20 against the Cardinals, so they won't have much time to get the field back in shape.
