MLB Network announced Wednesday its spring-training game schedule, which includes more than 200 games throughout the month of March and into early April.
Three Cubs games will air on MLB Network and be shown in the Chicago market that aren't being otherwise shown by Chicago TV channels:
Wednesday, March 11 - Los Angeles Dodgers at Cubs - 3:00 p.m. CT Monday, March 16 - Cubs at San Diego Padres - 3:00 p.m. CT Friday, April 3 - Cubs at Arizona Diamondbacks - 8:30 p.m. CT
These are in addition to the 10 games being carried on Cubs TV outlets, one that will be on ESPN, and four others that can be seen on the Cubs' opponent's TV outlet (the March 16 game will be on Fox Sports San Diego in addition to MLB Network). So, that makes 17 televised games this spring in all, far more than in previous years. The Cubs' complete spring broadcast schedule is here.In addition to the three games being shown live on MLB Network listed above, seven other games will be carried by that network on tape delay.
