According to Curbed Chicago, former Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood's Lincoln Park mansion is up for sale:

Wood, who played with the Cubs for the majority of his career, is still a part of the Cubs organization, acting as a special assistant to Theo Epstein and general manager Jed Hoyer. It's unknown exactly where the Wood family is looking to move to, but their Lincoln Park home is barely broken in. Built in 2005 by luxury home developer BGD&C, the home sports a limestone exterior and high end finishes on the inside. There's also a nice patio and garage rooftop deck space in the back. The Woods paid $3.325 million back in 2008 when they first purchased the place, but have listed it this week with a $3.595 million ask.

I had heard a couple of years ago that the Wood family was looking to buy some land somewhere in the north or northwest suburbs and build a home, so that might be where they're going.

If you're interested in more details, here's the listing via Coldwell Banker. There are photos at the listing link as well as the Curbed Chicago link.

Who knows? Maybe he could sell to Jon Lester and keep it in the Cubs family.
