SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- If this game preview seems an hour late to you, it's because you forgot to turn your clocks ahead for Daylight Saving time. That is, unless you're here in Arizona (or a few other areas in North America). Since AZ doesn't observe DST, games from here to the end of spring training will begin at 3:05 p.m. CT (there are a few exceptions, noted here).

Cubs lineup:

Alcantara CF, La Stella 3B, Baez 2B, Sweeney RF, Olt DH, Valaika 1B, Castillo C, Lake LF, Russell SS

Many regulars get the day off again. Tommy La Stella gets another shot at third base. Junior Lake appears to be OK after that scary collision on Friday. And the Sloan Park crowd will get its first look at Addison Russell.

Rangers lineup:

Martin CF, Choo DH, Moreland 1B, Gallo 3B, Rua RF, Telis C, Smolinski RF, Lucas SS, Field 2B

Today, we'll get a look at Joey Gallo, who is ranked sixth in Baseball America's 2015 Top 100 Prospects List.

Jake Arrieta will start today and Tsuyoshi Wada is expected to follow. Both will throw two innings. Other Cubs pitchers on today's list: Eric Jokisch, Neil Ramirez, Zac Rosscup and Jorge De Leon.

Ross Ohlendorf gets the nod for the Rangers, who are sending a split squad to Sloan Park. Other Rangers pitchers scheduled today: Ross Wolf, David Martinez (no relation to the Cubs coach) and Jon Edwards.

Today's game will be on WBBM radio with Pat Hughes and Ron Coomer. For those who were asking about this yesterday, that's WBBM-AM 780.

MLB.com Gameday

Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.

For spring-training games, we'll have a first-pitch thread at five minutes to game time and one overflow thread, 90 minutes after game time (because I know how you all like overflow threads!). For today, that will be 3 p.m. CT and 4:30 p.m. CT. These threads will not post individually onto the front page; instead, you can find links to them in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page. They will also appear in this StoryStream™. The pitcher box and regular-season stats will return on Opening Day.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
