And for the first time this season, there will be a bumping up of players on a podium as Travis Wood would have taken the top spot on the Goat podium as well for his hitting performance (-.047). However, as I mentioned before the season started, pitchers this season will only be judged on their pitching performance and not their hitting.
It did lead to an interesting and tough-luck bottom step on the Goat podium, though.

But you want to talk about tough luck: the guy didn't even throw the fourth ball to Joey Votto and he ends up on the final step of the podium. Brian Schlitter owes him something for this. Maybe an "I'm sorry I threw ball four to the guy you three the first three balls to" card or something. I'm sure Hallmark has a Hoops and Yo-Yo card for that.
