Wrigley Field Construction Update: April 2, Part 2

We have many more photos from ballpark activities on Thursday.

BCB's David Sameshima, despite the accident in which one of his cameras and lenses were broken, went to Wrigley Field Thursday with some backup camera equipment and took quite a number of photos of everything that was going on.

Since I was on the road all day Friday, I didn't have a chance to get these to you but I know you'd want to see them.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that thanks to your suggestions, BCB reader #1 iowan cubs fan took it upon himself to set up a GoFundMe to help David replace his broken equipment. Here's the link with all the information you'll need to help out someone who's done a tremendous amount of work for BCB, and I've let him know how much I appreciate all of it -- including the times when he went to the park despite having a bad cold.

#1 iowan cubs fan started the GoFundMe with a donation in honor of Ernie Banks -- $14. I'm going to kick in some money and also I am going to personally replace David's monopod, which also broke a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks in advance for anything you can do to help. We'll have another set of photos from David, taken Friday, here later today.
