I hate to keep harping on the weather but it's been so bad for most of this year's Cubs home games, and the forecast for the rest of today isn't much better. The days when I have brought an umbrella and extra layers to Wrigley Field this year have far outnumbered the days when I haven't.
They will probably get this one in, as it looks like the bulk of the rain isn't going to fall until the overnight houts. Tomorrow is another story, though.
Here are today's particulars.
Cubs lineup:
Fowler CF, Coghlan LF, Rizzo 1B, Bryant 3B, Montero C, Castro SS, Baxter RF, Hendricks P, Russell 2B

Kyle Hendricks faced the Reds twice last year, including his major-league debut, but has not pitched against them in 2015. After two good starts to finish May, his first two in June have been a bit rough, although he is still throwing strikes (just 13 walks in 63⅔ innings). Current members of the Reds are a small-sample-size 5-for-18 off Hendricks.
Mike Leake has made two starts against the Cubs this year, and the Cubs won both of those games. Overall he's thrown 14 total innings against the Cubs in 2015 and allowed 11 hits, seven earned runs and four home runs (two by Chris Coghlan and one each from Anthony Rizzo and the still-DL'd Jorge Soler). Leake has an extensive history against the Cubs and current Cubs are hitting 43-for-135 (.319) against him with five total homers (Rizzo has one more in addition to the four listed above).
Today's game is on Fox. Here is the coverage map -- unless you live in the mid-section of the country, you're out of luck tonight. However, a reminder that if you have MLB.tv or Extra Innings, you can watch via those services no matter where you are located. Len Kasper and Eric Karros will call the game.

Please visit our SB Nation Reds site Red Reporter. If you do go there to interact with Reds fans, please be respectful, abide by their individual site rules and serve as a good representation of Cub fans in general and BCB in particular.
The 2015 Game Thread procedure has changed a bit. Here's how it will work going forward.
You'll find the game preview posted separately on the front page, two hours before game time (90 minutes for some early day games following night games).
At the same time, a StoryStream™ containing the preview will also post on the front page. The First Pitch Thread and all the overflow threads will be published in that stream, as well as the recap. The recap will also live on the front page as a separate post, and at the time I write the recap I will rename the stream "Cubs vs. (Team) (Day of Week) Game Threads" so you can go back and find every thread related to that particular game.
You will also be able to find the preview, First Pitch Thread, all the overflow threads and recap in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page (you can also find them in this section link). They will also appear in the game's StoryStream™ as noted above.
The First Pitch thread will post at five minutes before game time, then an overflow thread at one hour, two hours and 2:45 after the scheduled game time.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
