THE THREE HEROES:
- Superhero - Starlin Castro (.287). Obviously the game-winner got him the high honors for Sunday, but the 3-for-5 night was also a very good thing.
- Hero - Brian Schlitter (.206). Came into a tough situation in the 11th and got the job done.
- Sidekick - Jon Lester (.180). A strong outing overall for him, including a couple of escapes with runners on third.
THE THREE GOATS:
- Billy Goat - Mike Baxter (-.217). Congratulations, Mike... not only is it your first ever podium appearance as a Cub, but it's also your first ever Golden Sombrero.
- Goat - Anthony Rizzo (-.131). It's the first time this season that he's gone hitless in three straight games.
- Kid - Kris Bryant (-.123). Had the early double, but that was about it on the night for him.
