This was a fear Tuesday night when Jorge Soler didn't start in the game against the Marlins and now it's turned out to be true:
Soler to DL with left ankle sprain. Baxter back on roster to take his place.

Mike Baxter can return just one day after being optioned to Triple-A Iowa because of the injury.
Reportedly, Soler hurt his ankle trying to run out one of the four groundouts he made during Monday night's game. I'm not sure which groundout that was or I'd try to locate video. I assume this is retroactive to yesterday, since Soler didn't play in Tuesday's game.
Hopefully, this isn't serious and Soler will be able to return after the 15 days are up. Personally, I'd have recalled Arismendy Alcantara instead of Baxter, to give the Cubs some positional flexibility. This likely means that Junior Lake will get some extended time to start in Soler's absence. Perhaps he can show, in that time, that he belongs on the roster to stay.
