Late Wednesday, Major League Baseball announced game times for the first couple of days of the Championship Series round of the postseason. I’m sure you weren’t surprised to learn that the Cubs games at Wrigley Field Saturday and Sunday would be played in the evening.
Thursday morning, MLB released more game times for the ALCS and NLCS, and once again, you’ll see more of the Cubs at night:
So, all the Cubs road games for this series, Games 3, 4 and (if necessary) 5, will also take place in the prime evening slot, regardless of whether they will be played in Los Angeles or Washington. If it’s L.A., that could cause some early-inning issues with shadows, as that’s 5:08 p.m. PT.
Again, MLB sent out this reminder in their press release: “All ALCS and World Series games will be available live to MLB.TV subscribers who also are authenticated subscribers to the applicable network through a participating pay TV provider.” I understand logging in this way has been an issue for some; if you can’t do it through the MLB At Bat app or MLB.com, try the Fox Sports Go app, which should have the FS1 games available.
