American League Championship Series Game 2: Blue Jays vs. Indians, Saturday 10/15, 3 p.m. CT

New, comments

The Jays look to even up their series with the Tribe.

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

While we wait for the Cubs to face the Dodgers in NLCS Game 1 this evening, there will be another baseball game to keep tabs on: The Indians and Blue Jays play Game 2 of the ALCS in Cleveland. It’s simple: Toronto must win to avoid going home down two games to none.

Their bats were silent Friday night, but that was against Cleveland’s best pitcher, Corey Kluber. They might have a better time hitting this afternoon. Marco Estrada pitched a pretty good game, just made one mistake, the homer to Francisco Lindor.

Probable pitchers: J.A. Happ (Blue Jays), Josh Tomlin (Indians).

Today’s game is on TBS at 3 p.m. CT. Announcers: Ernie Johnson (play-by-play), Ron Darling & Cal Ripken, Jr. (analysts) with Sam Ryan (reporter). Gameday game preview
