The online oddsmaker Bovada has issued its odds for the chances for the teams in this year’s postseason to win the pennant, or to win it all.

You likely won’t be surprised to learn that the Cubs are an overwhelming betting favorite to win both the N.L. pennant and the World Series. Here are Bovada’s odds for both:

Odds to win the 2016 NL Pennant

Chicago Cubs 11/10
Washington Nationals 3/1
Los Angeles Dodgers 7/2
New York Mets 17/2
San Francisco Giants 10/1

Odds to win the 2016 World Series

Chicago Cubs 12/5
Boston Red Sox 5/1
Texas Rangers 6/1
Washington Nationals 13/2
Los Angeles Dodgers 15/2
Cleveland Indians 9/1
Toronto Blue Jays 10/1
New York Mets 18/1
Baltimore Orioles 22/1
San Francisco Giants 22/1

And, just for information’s sake, here are the odds for the A.L. pennant.

Odds to win the 2016 AL Pennant

Boston Red Sox 2/1
Texas Rangers 2/1
Cleveland Indians 15/4
Toronto Blue Jays 19/4
Baltimore Orioles 10/1

So the odds favor a matchup of Theo’s old team against his new one, which could break all kinds of TV rating records. Of course, as we all know, the playoffs are a crapshoot, so really, any of these 10 teams could do better or worse than the odds state.
