BCB's David Sameshima stopped by Wrigley Field after work Friday and took this photoset.
The ballpark looks quite different in the snow! Work was being completed for the day, and there don't seem to have been too many changes in what you can see from the street regarding the construction project.
David reports:
It had just started to snow. Not much to see, right now. They have plastic sheets, or wooden boards, covering up most of the exposed portions of the ballpark. They must have just finished up work for the day, when I arrived around 6:00 p.m. There was one worker securing a sheet along the south side of the ballpark, and a worker was just closing Gate 8.5, on Sheffield Avenue. The ballpark lights were still on too. We'll have more photos as the work continues through the winter -- hopefully in warmer weather than Chicago is getting today!
