Dead & Company Playing Wrigley Field In 2017

Adding to the James Taylor Wrigley Field concert announced earlier this week, the Cubs Thursday sent emails to season-ticket holders and Wrigley neighbors Thursday offering a ticket presale for Dead & Company shows at the ballpark June 30 and July 1, 2017.

Dead & Company is comprised of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, and also includes John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.

The ticket presales begin Wednesday, December 7 at noon CT. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, December 9 at 10 a.m. CT.

The Cubs are in Cincinnati playing the Reds June 30 and July 1, near the end of an 11-game road trip that will also take them to Miami and Washington. The team returns to Wrigley July 4 to face the Rays, so they’ll have only a couple of days after the second of these shows to return the field to playable condition.
