Wrigley Field Construction Update: December 26

The project resumed Monday after taking the weekend off.

BCB's David Sameshima visited Wrigley Field on Monday and filed this brief report:

As you can see, the exterior of the plaza building is nearly finished. Soon, the clock tower will be built on the northwest corner of the building. The Cubs are still set to move their offices into the building before Opening Night.

The rest of the ballpark is pretty well shrouded, so viewing what's going on inside is impossible. But as a reminder, you can find this offseason's timeline of what work is being done at this link at WrigleyField.com.

And no. Seeing "WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS" on the marquee never gets old. Obviously ads will replace that during the season, but I hope the Cubs find some very visible place to keep "WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS" all during the 2017 season.
