Several prospects have graduated to the majors, but the cupboard still isn't bare.

Last week, Baseball America released an updated list of their Top 100 prospects, based upon half a season of minor league play and promotions to the major leagues. Three Cubs, Gleyber Torres, Ian Happ and Eloy Jimenez made their list, and all three were in the Top 50.

To be eligible for the list, players needed to still have rookie eligibility and needed to be in the minor leagues on June 21. That means players like Willson Contreras and Albert Almora were ineligible because they were on the major league roster at the time. They also didn't include any 2016 draftees or 2016 international signings.

The rankings of the Cubs players were;

27. Gleyber Torres

37. Ian Happ

46. Eloy Jimenez

Torres was ranked 41st in the the preseason rankings and Happ was ranked 87th. Jimenez makes the list for the first time.

Red Sox infielder Yoan Moncada was their top choice, followed by the Cardinals Alex Reyes, both of whom were on display in yesterday's Futures Game.
