The Clock Is Ticking For "John Baker Day!"

A final reminder to get your ticket and come celebrate the night the back-up catcher got the win with the Cubs' John Baker this Friday!

The bobbleheads have arrived! The T-shirts have been printed! And we've raised nearly $2,000 for Cubs Charities so far! But we can do better!

There is still time to get your ticket and attend John Baker Day at Nisei Lounge this Friday, July 29 at 11 a.m. Just click here and reserve your attendance at what promises to be a fun-filled event celebrating a unique moment in Cubs history!

If you can't make it, you can still buy the limited edition T-shirt and it will be shipped to you. All proceeds will go to Cubs Charities!

Here's what fans can expect at John Baker Day.

A Q-and-A with Mr. Baker, hosted by yours truly and Corey Fineran, host of the Ivy Envy podcast.

Musical performances by "By the Lakeside" singer Katie Day, and my band Bad Teenage Moustache will sing "The Ballad of John Baker"!

A raffle of a John Baker bobblehead and Cubs artwork by artist Matt Kammerer.

Plus! John Baker has invited players on the current Cubs roster to attend the event! Who knows who might show?! (however, no autographs please)

Cubs social media will also be in attendance as well to cover the whole event!

We have a few more surprises planned, but I can't tell you about them, because... well...t hey're surprises!

Don't forget! The auction of the five 2015 Cubs rookies signed painting is still live! Bid here! Bidding is already up to a grand!

This afternoon, I'll be recording John Baker's brother Will on a new version of "The Ballad of John Baker" set to release this Friday. Will Baker plays trombone for the Des Moines Symphony and the Chicago based party rock band Tynan. And now, he will be featured on the song dedicated to the heroics of his brother.

All the wonderful things are happening! So don't miss it!

Let's pack the Nisei Lounge this Friday at 11 a.m. before the Cubs take on the Mariners, and celebrate a unique moment in Cubs history while raising money for Cubs Charities!

Once again...the link to buy the tickets/T-shirts.

Don't just read about John Baker Day on next Monday. Be a part of it this Friday! (or at least buy a T-shirt)
