2016 Cubs NLDS Tales From The Virtual Waiting Room

If you were lucky enough to be chosen to buy Division Series tickets, you still might have to wait.

If you’ve ordered Cubs tickets before, you are certainly familiar with this image.

For those of you who were selected to get a chance to buy Cubs National League Division Series tickets for the three possible home games at Wrigley Field on October 7, 8 and 13, congratulations. If you didn't get chosen, don't fret, because you still might get the chance to get something even more precious -- Cubs World Series tickets.

Having said that, let me not get too far ahead of myself. There is still work to do, both for the Cubs to get to the NLCS or the WS, and for you to get NLDS tickets if you were one of those selected.

The sale of NLDS tickets begins this morning at 10 a.m. CT. They'll be opening up a Virtual Waiting Room for the email lottery winners shortly after this article posts. Usually that happens about 30 minutes before the sale begins, so I'd expect the VWR to be open around 9:30 a.m. CT.

I'd like to hear, and I'm sure others would too, about your experiences in the VWR if you're one of the lucky ones. How long are you waiting? Did you get tickets? Did you get bumped out of line by a browser glitch?

Post about your experiences here. And good luck!
