Based on this schedule released late Friday by Major League Baseball, the game time for National League Championship Series Game 4 between the Cubs and Dodgers Wednesday was contingent on whether there would be an American League Championship Series Game 5:

Since the Yankees defeated the Astros 8-1 in ALCS Game 3 Monday evening, we now know there will indeed be an ALCS Game 5. That game will be played at 4:08 p.m. CT (5:08 p.m. in New York) late Wednesday afternoon.
That means, based on the above schedule, that Game 4 between the Cubs and Dodgers will be at 8:01 p.m. CT at Wrigley Field, the same time as Tuesday’s Game 3.
Mark your calendars accordingly! if you are going to the games Tuesday and Wednesday, the Cubs say gates will open “approximately two hours” before game time, so figure a gate opening time of about 6 p.m. for both Game 3 tonight and Game 4 Wednesday. NLCS Game 5, which is not affected by ALCS scheduling, is already set for 7:08 p.m. CT Thursday — if necessary. (And let’s hope it is!)
