2017 American League Division Series, Day 1: Red Sox vs. Astros, Yankees vs. Indians

The American League division series begin with a late-afternoon contest in Houston, then continue with an evening game in Cleveland. It’s the first division championship for the Astros since they became an A.L. team (they were a wild card in 2015) and the first 100-win season in their franchise history.

For the Indians, they will be looking for a return visit to the World Series, and they come into their series against the Yankees having gone 26-4 since September 1.

Game time for Red Sox/Astros: 3 p.m. CT. TV: MLB Network. Announcers: Joe Davis, A.J. Pierzynski, Jon Paul Morosi and David Cone.

Game time for Yankees/Indians: 6:30 p.m. CT. TV: FS1. Announcers: Joe Buck, John Smoltz, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal.

Sonny Gray (Yankees) vs. Trevor Bauer (Indians)
