Sunday afternoon in Boston, the Red Sox stayed alive in their division series with the Astros with a decisive 10-3 win. The victory included four shutout relief innings from David Price, and was Boston’s first postseason win since Game 6 of the 2013 World Series.
As a result of the Boston victory, the Cubs game Monday afternoon against the Nationals is now confirmed for a 3 p.m. CT starting time. The Red Sox and Astros will play Game 4 of their series Monday at 1 p.m. CT. — weather permitting in Boston, and as of the time of this post the Monday forecast for Boston looks iffy.
If the Yankees also extend their series to a fourth game against the Indians by winning Sunday evening, that game would be played Monday at 7 p.m. CT. Here are the lineups for Sunday night’s Indians/Yankees game:

Monday’s weather forecast for New York City is a little bit better than the Boston forecast, but not much better. The remnants of Hurricane Nate are heading to the Northeast, fairly quickly.
Anyway, now we know for certain that the Cubs and Nats, with Jose Quintana facing Max Scherzer, will begin at 3 p.m. CT Monday. TV is still on TBS.
