SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- When the Indians' spring-training schedule was released last November, the team's official Twitter account sent this out:
#TribeSpring schedule is out! #WorldSeries Game 8 is set for Feb. 26 in Mesa; Game 9 is March 24. https://t.co/aoAgpZ41lX pic.twitter.com/lkdDUyRlGL

Got to give them credit. That's pretty clever. And today is February 26, so... Game 8?
Well, not exactly. The stakes aren't as high and most of the players who played in the World Series won't be seen today, not much, anyway.
Cubs lineup:
Heyward DH, Baez 2B, Candelario 1B, Jimenez LF, Almora CF, Young 3B, Weeks SS, Szczur RF, Corporan C
Today is a chance to see Cubs prospects, including Eloy Jimenez and Chesny Young.
Indians lineup:
Naquin CF, Almonte LF, Santana 1B, Chisenhall RF, Perez C, Colabello DH, Urshela 3B, Rodriguez 2B, Gonzalez SS
Jake Buchanan starts for the Cubs. Also scheduled: Casey Kelly, Daniel Corcino, Zac Rosscup, Gerardo Concepcion and David Rollins.
Danny Salazar goes for the Tribe. Also scheduled: Shawn Morimando, Nick Goody, Kyle Crockett, Tyler Olson, Hoby Milner and Travis Banwart.
Today’s game is on 670 The Score with Pat Hughes and Ron Coomer. The game is being televised by SportsTime Ohio with the Indians broadcasters and should be available on MLB.tv online. A rebroadcast of this game will be on MLB Network at 7 p.m. CT.
Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.
Please visit our SB Nation Indians site Let’s Go Tribe. If you do go there to interact with Indians fans, please be respectful, abide by their individual site rules and serve as a good representation of Cub fans in general and BCB in particular.
Please note that during spring training, Gameday doesn't usually go pitch-by-pitch as it does during the regular season -- usually, it will update after each at-bat.
For spring-training games, we'll have a first-pitch thread at five minutes to game time and one overflow thread, 90 minutes after game time (because I know how you all like overflow threads!). For today, that will be 2 p.m. CT and 3:30 p.m. CT.
Those threads will not post individually onto the front page; instead, you can find links to them in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page. There will also be a StoryStream on the front page with all the game thread links, as well as the recap after the game is over. The pitcher boxes and regular-season stats will return on Opening Night.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
