Cubs vs. Diamondbacks at Talking Stick Preview, Thursday 3/2, 8:10 CT

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- I'm heading over to Talking Stick for tonight's game, the first night game of 2017. Here are the particulars. A recap of this game will be posted Friday morning at the usual night-game recap time, 8 a..m. CT.

Cubs lineup:

Schwarber DH, Almora CF, Candelario 3B, Montero C, Szczur RF, Young 2B, Andreoli LF, Davis 1B, Kawasaki SS

Diamondbacks lineup:

Pollock CF, Peralta RF, Drury 2B, Tomas LF, Hazelbaker DH, Marte SS, Herrmann C, Pridie 1B, Negron 3B

Jake Buchanan will start for the Cubs. Other pitchers scheduled tonight for the Cubs: David Rollins, Jhondaniel Medina, Daniel Corcino and Zac Rosscup.

Shelby Miller gets the call for the D-backs. Others scheduled for Arizona: Randall Delgado, Andrew Chafin, Enrique Burgos, Silvino Bracho, Daniel Gibson and Jimmie Sherfy.

Tonight’s game is on cubs.com with Mick Gillispie and Ron Coomer.
