SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- This is the Cubs' third time at Talking Stick this week (Rockies Monday, D-backs Thursday, Rockies today). It's been like home games there with the crowds being majority Cubs fans.
It should likely be that way in Las Vegas, too. As of this morning there were a small number of tickets available at Cashman Field in Las Vegas.
Here are today's particulars. There will be one set of threads today for both games.
At the time I wrote this preview, neither of the lineups for the Las Vegas game was available. Check the BCB Twitter feed for the Cubs and Reds lineups in Las Vegas.
Cubs lineup at Talking Stick vs. Rockies:
Jay LF, Heyward CF, Contreras C, Baez SS, Candelario 3B, Szczur RF, Dominguez 1B, Sepulveda 2B, Anderson P
Rockies lineup:
Blackmon CF, LeMahieu 2B, Gonzalez RF, Arenado 3B, Story SS, Reynolds 1B, Denorfia LF, Garneau C, Marquez P
Many of the Rockies regulars are playing today, and we also see old friend Chris Denorfia.
Kyle Hendricks will start for the Cubs in Las Vegas.
Robert Stephenson will go for the Reds.
Brett Anderson will start for the Cubs at Talking Stick. Others on the Cubs list for this one: Wade Davis, Hector Rondon and Pedro Strop.

Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.
Please visit our SB Nation Reds site Red Reporter and Rockies site Purple Row. If you do go there to interact with Reds or Rockies fans, please be respectful, abide by their individual site rules and serve as a good representation of Cub fans in general and BCB in particular.
Please note that during spring training, Gameday doesn't usually go pitch-by-pitch as it does during the regular season -- usually, it will update after each at-bat.
For spring-training games, we'll have a first-pitch thread at five minutes to game time and one overflow thread, 90 minutes after game time (because I know how you all like overflow threads!). For today, that will be 3 p.m. CT and 4:30 p.m. CT.
These threads will not post individually onto the front page; instead, you can find links to them in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page. There will also be a StoryStream on the front page with all the game thread links, as well as the recap after the game is over. The pitcher boxes and regular-season stats will return on Opening Night.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
