If the Cubs win this afternoon, that would be yet another series victory.
Keep doing that and good things will follow this year.
Rain should clear out before game time, but it's still going to be chilly with a wind blowing off Lake Michigan for this one.
Here are today’s particulars.
Cubs lineup:
=Schwarber LF, Bryant 3B, Rizzo 1B, Russell SS, Contreras C, Almora CF, Heyward RF, Baez 2B, Anderson P
Dodgers lineup:
Forsythe 2B, Seager SS, Turner 3B, Puig RF, Van Slyke 1B, Grandal C, Thompson CF, Hernandez LF, Ryu P

Brett Anderson had a successful Cubs debut last Friday against the Brewers, allowing just one run in 5⅔ innings. As a former Dodger, he hasn't faced many of his old teammates. Just one Dodgers player has more than two career AB against him -- Adrian Gonzalez (2-for-8, a home run). Anderson's specialty is ground balls, which should be a good thing on a day with the wind blowing in.
Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed two runs in 4⅔ innings to the Rockies in his 2017 debut last Friday. Ryu also doesn't have much history against current Cubs players. They are 8-for-32 lifetime against him, and just two Cubs (Miguel Montero and Jason Heyward) have seen him for more than six career at-bats.
Today's game is on CSN Chicago. It will also be on MLB Network (outside the Chicago and Los Angeles markets).

Please visit our SB Nation Dodgers site True Blue LA. If you do go there to interact with Dodgers fans, please be respectful, abide by their individual site rules and serve as a good representation of Cub fans in general and BCB in particular.
The 2017 Game Thread procedure will be the same as the one used during 2016. Here's how it works.
You'll find the game preview posted separately on the front page, two hours before game time (90 minutes for some early day games following night games).
At the same time, a StoryStream containing the preview will also post on the front page. The First Pitch Thread and all the overflow threads will be published in that stream, as well as the recap. The recap will also live on the front page as a separate post, and at the time I write the recap I will rename the stream "Cubs vs. (Team) (Day of Week) Game Threads" so you can go back and find every thread related to that particular game.
You will also be able to find the preview, First Pitch Thread, all the overflow threads and recap in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page (you can also find them in this section link). They will also appear in the game's StoryStream as noted above.
The First Pitch thread will post at five minutes before game time, then an overflow thread at one hour, two hours and 2:45 after the scheduled game time.
