Kyle Hendricks was one of the better pitchers in the National League in 2016. But for much of 2017, he struggled, until it was revealed in early June that he was suffering from finger tendinitis. He’s been on the disabled list since June 8.
After a successful rehab assignment to Double-A Tennessee that included five perfect innings last Monday, Kyle is back to the active roster:

Felix Pena has been up-and-down on the Iowa shuttle several times this year; he has had three stints with the Cubs in which he’s pitched in 10 games and allowed eight earned runs in 16 innings for a 4.50 ERA. He'll likely be back in September, if not before.
So, for now, here’s the Cubs’ pitching staff, all 13 of them:
Starters: Jon Lester, Jose Quintana, Jake Arrieta, Kyle Hendricks and John Lackey
Relievers: Wade Davis, Pedro Strop, Hector Rondon, Carl Edwards Jr., Koji Uehara, Brian Duensing, Mike Montgomery and Justin Grimm
