You voted and the results are in. Cubs shortstop Nico Hoerner has won the “Final Two” vote for the East Team in the Arizona Fall League “Fall Stars” Game. Hoerner now joins right-handed reliever Bailey Clark as the two representatives in Saturday’s game.
Hoerner, the Cubs first-round draft pick this past June, was assigned to the Arizona Fall League after missing most of the regular season with an elbow injury. Despite having just 14 professional games under his belt before the AFL started, Hoerner has excelled. In 14 games in the AFL, Hoerner is hitting .350/.375/.467 with two doubles, one triple and one home run. He also has one stolen base.
Hoerner would like to thank his fans:

The winner of the Final 2 vote for the West squad was Orioles outfielder Ryan McKenna.
The Fall Stars Game will be played this Saturday, November 3, at 7:00 Central Time in Surprise Stadium. The game will be televised on the MLB Network, so for many of you this will be your first chance to see two players that the Cubs hope will be stars at Wrigley Field for years to come.
