Last year, David Bote played in this game, and you know what happened to him. In 2016, Ian Happ was in the Fall Stars game and homered twice, getting quite a bit of notice for his performance.
The game is at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, the spring home of the Rangers and Royals. It will be televised live on MLB Network beginning at 7 p.m. CT, and also streamed live on MLB.com. I thought you’d all like a game thread for a live game as we head into the long winter.
This year, Cubs prospects Bailey Clark and Nico Hoerner will represent the team in the game, on the East squad. Nico Hoerner won the “Final 2” vote for this game, so thanks to all the Cubs fans who voted him onto the team.

This will be the only thread for tonight’s game. Enjoy, and discuss amongst yourselves.
Site note: For those of you who like threads like this, I’m going to post one for the Rawlings Gold Glove presentation show tomorrow, which will be on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT. Three Cubs (Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez and Jason Heyward) are “finalists” for Gold Gloves. That thread will post tomorrow, Sunday, November 4 at 7 p.m. CT.
