The 10 best Cubs photos of 2018

New, 38 comments

The Cubs are always photogenic. Here are my choices for the best pictures taken of them this year.

It’s nearly New Year’s Day — man, where does the time go? — and so it’s time for all sorts of year-end retrospectives.

The one I want to present to you today is my selection of the 10 best Cubs photos of 2018.

And sure, I could probably have chosen from 20 others to present to you today, but I thought “10 best” is a good, solid number to choose from, and I think these represent the 2018 season quite well, beginning with a couple of shots of frozen April, to the tough season Tyler Chatwood had, to the exciting walkoff slams hit by Jason Heyward and David Bote, and ending with the weird hug Javier Baez and Nolan Arenado had in the Cubs’ only 2018 postseason game.

Vote in the poll below for your favorite photo of this past season, or perhaps you have another choice that you can leave in the comments.

And let’s hope 2019 is a season where we can have another photo like this one, probably my favorite from the 2016 World Series celebration:
