If you want to try your hand at winning some Cubs tickets for this season, check out the Cubs “Pitch In” pop-up activation at Daley Plaza Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.
The Cubs invite everyone to join them for a pitching activation at Daley Plaza. You’ll have your chance by pitching at targets in order to win tickets to a 2018 game. There will be varying levels of difficulty, with the most challenging target representing the hottest games of the season.
Former Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster will be on hand to provide pitching instruction and take photos with fans. There will also be a DJ and representatives from Garrett Popcorn handing out free popcorn. In addition to the tickets, the Cubs will be giving away other team-related prizes, a fun way to enjoy the lunch hour downtown, and it looks like the weather will cooperate, if a bit chilly.
