Myrtle Beach Pelicans
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans were padlocked by the Frederick Keys (Orioles), 10-0.
Pelicans starter Jose Paulino retired the first eight batters he faced. Then a batter reached on an error and the wheels came off. Paulino gave up eight runs on seven hits over 3.2 innings. Only five of the eight runs were earned. Paulino walked one and struck out one.
Third baseman Wladimir Galindo was 2 for 3 with a double.
