Let’s face it, Chicago Cubs fans are spoiled when it comes to having a great home park. Wrigley is one of the last truly great old parks, and even though it’s had quite a facelift recently, it still manages to maintain that classic old-school vibe. Cubs fans are lucky to get to frequently visit a park that ranks in top voting year after year. Not to mention Chicago is a great town to see for those coming for a game from other cities.
But, with that in mind, there are still 29 other parks in the majors, and some of them have their charms. Fenway has the same kind of storied history as Wrigley, so fans of the bygone baseball era love it and all its weird little charms. Then there’s the park of division rival Pittsburgh Pirates. Say what you will about the team, but few things in baseball surpass that PNC view.
If you’re anything like me, you make a point of visiting other parks whenever you travel and getting a vibe for what other teams have to offer. Maybe you’ve visited some parks that no longer exist. Perhaps you’ve only made the trip up to Milwaukee once or twice.
Regardless of how many stadiums you’ve been to, we want to know about it. Let us know how many you’ve visited, and which was your favorite (not counting Wrigley).
