Brandon Morrow hurt his back when returning from St. Louis Sunday night, supposedly when taking his pants off -- hey, I don't make ‘em up, I just write ‘em -- and now he'll get a 10-day break:
#Cubs place Morrow on DL, Hancock stays on roster

Justin Hancock was called up to be the 26th man for Tuesday's second game, and now he'll be around for a while. In Morrow's absence, Steve Cishek, Pedro Strop, Justin Wilson or even Hancock could close games. The Morrow DL assignment is retroactive to Sunday, so he is eligible to return June 28.
Honestly, it's not a bad idea to give Morrow a break for a while now, to have him healthy down the stretch and in the postseason. Hopefully this back issue will be fine with 10 days rest.
