Iowa Cubs

Mark Zagunis went 1 for 4 with two stolen bases. Zagunis scored the other I-Cubs run.

Eury Ramos took over for Casey in the third and tossed five scoreless innings. Ramos surrendered four hits. He struck out three and walked no one.

Yan De La Cruz took the mound for the eighth inning and took the loss after he got pounded for five runs in just two-thirds of an inning. De La Cruz allowed three hits and walked one. Two of the five runs were unearned. De La Cruz did not record a strikeout.

Catcher Gustavo Polanco was 2 for 4 and he scored the first Ems run of the game in the third inning.
