The Myrtle Beach Pelicans were filibustered by the Potomac Nationals, 5-1.
Erich Uelmen started and took the loss. Uelmen allowed four runs on 12 hits over 4.2 innings. Uelmen walked one and struck out three.

Catcher Jhonny Pereda went 2 for 4 with a walk.

South Bend Cubs
The South Bend Cubs were held up by the Quad Cities River Bandits (Astros), 2-1.
Erling Moreno started and got the hard-luck loss. Moreno gave up just two runs on four hits over six innings. Moreno walked three and struck out four.
Center fielder Zach Davis went 2 for 4 and drove in the lone South Bend run.
Eugene Emeralds
The Eugene Emeralds were buried by the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Giants), 6-2.
Starter Riley Thompson hit the first two batters of the game and he was lucky to escape the first with only two runs scoring. He then gave up a solo home run in the second inning and his final line was three runs on three hits over two innings. Thompson walked one and struck out one.
Right fielder Nelson Velazquez hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, his fifth of the season. Velazquez went 1 for 4.
It was first baseman Luke Reynolds’ second night in Eugene and he went 2 for 4 for the second night in a row.
