Cubs announce game time for game vs. Nationals August 12

They’ll be ESPN’s featured game.

Al Yellon

Late Thursday afternoon, the Cubs announced that the game Sunday, August 12 at Wrigley Field will be ESPN’s featured Sunday Night Baseball game and it will begin at 7:05 p.m. CT. The game had previously been listed as “TBD” on schedules.

This will be the second Sunday night game at Wrigley Field this year; the Giants/Cubs game May 27 was also ESPN’s featured game. It will be the fourth time for the Cubs on Sunday Night Baseball in 2018; they were the featured game May 6 at St. Louis and will also be on Sunday Night Baseball this coming Sunday, July 29, also against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

There is one more “TBD” game on the Cubs’ schedule for this season, Saturday, September 29 at Wrigley Field against the Cardinals. That game will likely be either at 12:05 p.m. or 3:05 p.m., depending on Fox-TV’s choice for a game that afternoon.
