2019 American League Division Series: Rays vs. Astros Game 5, 6 p.m. CT

One game for the right to face the Yankees in the ALCS.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Yes, I checked. The game time listed in the headline and below is correct.

Here’s all the info you’ll need for today’s decisive Game 5 of the A.L. division series.

Game time for Rays/Astros: 6 p.m. CT. TV: FS1. Announcers: Announcers: Kenny Albert, Joe Girardi, A.J. Pierzynski and Jon Paul Morosi.

Pitching matchups:

Tyler Glasnow (Rays) vs. Gerrit Cole (Astros)

What the Pirates have left in exchange for these two are: a couple of serviceable but not great starting pitchers, a middling third baseman, a middle reliever and a minor leaguer who might turn into something but probably not.

And the teams in tonight’s game have an ace and a possible future ace.

Cole threw 7⅔ outstanding innings in Game 2, striking out 15.

Glasnow had to leave before the fifth inning ended in Game 1, allowing two runs. But he was still ramping up from missing four months of this season with a forearm injury. The 76 pitches he threw was his most since May.

Two outstanding young pitchers. This game will probably end up 11-10.
